Our Day Services exist to support recovery and build peoples’ confidence in themselves and in their future. At our centres we aim to provide a friendly and relaxed environment where people can feel included and valued. People can increase their social networks, develop their skills and find information on a range of issues such as benefits, housing, training, education, employment, sport and leisure. All the centres have specialist vocational workers on hand.
Each centre has a range of facilities for people to use and we run groups for people to further particular talents and interests. We have good links with local services and we actively promote integration with the local community by encouraging and supporting the use mainstream resources, so that many of our activities take place away from the centres.
All the centres offer Complementary Therapies and provide meals and refreshments at a low price.
As a matter of course we encourage people who use our services to be involved in their organisation and development by taking part in the decision making processes at the centres and by consulting them on any matters that affect them as individuals or groups.
