About the Housing Support Service

We see good quality, affordable and secure housing as vital in maintaining mental and physical health. And in turn mental and physical ill health and other compounding difficulties can have an effect on a person's ability to maintain their tenancy. That is why we are offering extra support to tenants with housing-related difficulties.

MIND Houses

In partnership with Hyde Housing, Worthing and Littlehampton MIND provides support to 12 tenants living in local housing schemes: 9 people in self-contained flats and 3 people in a shared house. All have the security of an Assured Tenancy and the Support Workers offer help with such matters as benefits, budgeting, daily living skills and access to other services.

Housing Support Service.

We provide a move-on from supported housing and housing support service for about 60 individuals mental health needs living in Adur and Worthing. We help them to find appropriate accommodation and give practical assistance to enable them to live independently and actively participate in the local community.

Homelessness Support Service

In partnership with Worthing Borough Council we run a Homelessness Support Service offering support to vulnerable families and other people at risk of becoming homeless.
